The HIV Vaccine Chronicle is a public record of the search for an HIV vaccine: the trials, the timelines, the outcomes, and the prevention line that developed alongside. It is edited by an independent maintainer and built as a static, fast, tracker-light site. It exists because the answers to the most common question about HIV — "where's the vaccine?" — were scattered across registries, journals and dead domains.
2What this is not
Not the Partnership for AIDS Vaccine Evaluation (PAVE), which ran on this domain until ~2017 — see its record. Not any government agency, trial network, or pharmaceutical company. Not a medical service: nothing here is clinical advice, and the prevention page points you to clinicians, not to products.
3How it's funded
Personally, at negligible cost — static hosting, no staff. No advertising, no sponsored content, no affiliate links. If that ever changes, this paragraph changes first.
4How to check us
Every trial number links-resolves at ClinicalTrials.gov; every efficacy claim carries its journal citation; grades and corrections policy live at evidence. If we're wrong, write ([email protected]) and the correction gets logged publicly.
